OUR LEGACY
One of Asia's oldest student-run photographic clubs, JUPC has been a home for visionaries since 1964.
What began in a washroom of the Geology Department has grown into a prestigious institution with its own studio, darkroom, and library. We foster a community of passionate photographers who document life
through their lenses.

Darkroom Activities
At JUPC, the darkroom remains a core space where members explore the traditional art of film photography. Students engage in developing negatives, printing photographs, and experimenting with classic techniques that emphasize patience, precision, and creativity. These activities not only preserve the legacy of analog photography but also give members a deeper understanding of the craft, complementing their digital skills with hands-on experience in image-making.
